dippity-do da
today on my way back to work after visiting Z-dog at home (making sure she hadn't melted into a puppy puddle), i stopped at trader joe's to get some icey cold treats for my co-workers.
you wouldn't believe how many people turned one down-
but the ones that said yes were Super Psyched! only crazy fools don't love chocolate covered frozen bananas.

the week in.... Food!
we got this really neat new paper pad at Anthro on saturday while wasting a rainy day at the mall. Now, on sundays, after grocery shopping, we plan out the week worth of meals.
for today, let's look at last week and review our eating decisions:

RECIPES:
1. for leek bread pudding, see here .
(make sure you buy your bread at Iggy's )
2. sugar snap peas:
-saute tons of garlic and ginger in olive oil. add sugar snap peas, saute for about 2 minutes, just until crisp. add liberal amounts of soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and a drizzle of toasted sesame oil, all based on how many peas you cooked. YUM!
3. honey sesame shrimp
-combine 1 cup flour, salt and pepper. make a well in the center, add 1 egg, 2/3 cup water. stir, set aside for 10 minutes.
- roll shrimp in 2 tbsp cornstarch. dip in batter. fry until cooked.
-heat 1 tbsp sesame oil, add 2 tbsp honey in a small pan. heat until honey is melted. add shrimp, stir until coated. sprinkle with sesame seeds.
